Launching this week. Built by a founder, not a content farm.

What you'll get

Three real briefs from the first edition.

This is not a sample of what the newsletter could look like. These are three ideas I drafted from real signals this week. Briefs 1 and 2 passed the filter. Brief 3 is the Asia angle Western newsletters cannot see.

Brief 01Weekend project

API Change Radar

Bookmark the APIs your company depends on. Get notified the day they change.

Every company runs on third-party APIs it didn't build. Vendors silently change specs and you find out at 3am when a customer screams. We lost a full day of uptime to exactly this last quarter. It's not enterprise observability — it's a favorites list with alerts, and that framing is why nothing decent exists yet.

MVP scope

  • Paste an OpenAPI URL, get a baseline snapshot
  • Daily diff against last snapshot, emit webhook on change
  • Slack + email notifications, no dashboard for v1
  • One paid tier: unlimited APIs, team alerts

Why now

AI coding tools push teams to ship against more APIs than ever. The blast radius of a silent vendor change is growing fast.

Brief 022 weeks

Quiet Collector

A neutral third party that chases your unpaid invoices so you don't poison the client relationship.

Freelancers and small studios get stiffed on invoices. The emotional cost of chasing clients yourself is what actually kills small businesses — not the lost revenue. A dispassionate third party that drips polite, scheduled reminders removes the founder from the awkward conversation and takes a percentage only when the money actually lands.

MVP scope

  • Upload invoice PDF + debtor contact
  • Configurable reminder cadence (Day 7, 14, 30, 45, 60)
  • Payment link on every reminder, funds go to the founder's Stripe
  • Take a percentage only on successful collection

Why now

The freelance economy is larger than ever, and the tooling for 'I got paid late' is still a Google Sheet. Success-fee pricing means no trust barrier to try it.

Brief 031 month

Handshake → Contract

Turn a verbal home-services agreement into a signed one-page contract, on the spot, on a phone.

Korean home-services contractors — interiors, repairs, electricians — work on verbal agreements with homeowners who are 40-60 years old and not comfortable with apps. Disputes over scope, price, and timeline are constant. Existing construction contract tools are built for $500K projects and don't work at the $2,000 bathroom-tile level. This is the differentiator: a Western newsletter would never surface this. An Asia-aware one has to.

MVP scope

  • Contractor enters scope, price, timeline in plain language
  • Auto-generate a one-page contract, homeowner signs on phone
  • Escrow optional for v2; v1 is just the signed doc
  • Take a percentage of contract value on signature

Why now

Korea's home-services market is fragmented and overdue for basic trust infrastructure. Western idea newsletters structurally cannot see this — that's exactly why it belongs here.

Why this one

Three things most idea newsletters get wrong.

Asia signals included

Ideas Western newsletters structurally cannot see.

Most idea newsletters are SF-and-NYC echo chambers. We also pull from Korean and Asian markets — opportunities English-only readers literally do not have access to.

Conversion logic, not vibes

Every signal runs through a 5-step filter.

Why now. Who's hurting. What the current workaround is. Who the real competitors are. What the MVP actually is. If a signal fails the filter, it does not ship — even if the headline is tempting.

Built by a founder

Not a content farm, not an AI aggregator.

I'm a non-engineer founder using AI to build at the speed of thinking. This newsletter is the map for people like me — the pickaxes-and-jeans layer of the AI boom.
